In case of emergency, cruelty or hardship please contact the Westmeath SPCA Inspector on 086 6383730

Please note: the website, email account, and social media pages are all run by volunteers so there may be a delay in responding.
We will try to reply as quickly as we can. However please bear in mind the fact that Westmeath SPCA is a charity with limited resources and use sound judgement when requesting assistance from the inspector, and only call during the following times :

  • Mon – Thur phone calls up to 7pm, after 7pm text only,
  • Fri & Sat phone calls up to 4:30pm, after 4:30pm text only,
  • Sunday text only

Requests for vouchers, enquiries regarding TNR, seeking help with feral cats are not emergencies and should be normally dealt with during the day. Please allow for the fact that the inspector may be driving or dealing with another issue and may have to return your call. When texting the inspector, please try to supply enough information so that the level of priority may be easily assessed.

Sometimes, in cases of emergencies, it may be more appropriate to contact the Gardai or get veterinary advice. Should the Gardai decide the inspector is needed they will contact the Westmeath SPCA inspector. Thank you for your understanding.
